Why Defold?

Deep expertise in Defold.

Defold is our main game engine, which allows us to build very small games quickly and ship them across platforms. By focusing on one engine, we offer strong know-how and high quality. Defold is lightweight while still being powerful enough for everything from small games to larger PC and console titles.

  • Defold consultancy. Architecture, optimization, size reduction, UI/UX, external system integrations, and production support.
  • Game development across platforms. HTML5 games, in-app games, advergames, playable ads, campaign products, and traditional mobile, PC, and console games.
  • Skill outsourcing. We can quickly organize a Defold-capable team or strengthen your own team during production in the Defold engine.
  • Porting to all platforms. We can move a game across platforms, from HTML5 to iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, and consoles.
What our clients value

Flexibility and professionalism.

Clients value us above all for how quickly we fit into different project realities. We adapt to the production stage, collaboration style, technical constraints, team pace, and business needs without adding friction on the partner side.

  • Production flexibility. We can step into small, fast-turnaround work just as comfortably as larger projects that need longer-term support.
  • Fit with the client team. We can work independently, plug into an existing process, or strengthen in-house capabilities without organizational friction.
  • Fast response to change. When scope, priorities, or assumptions shift, we keep momentum instead of letting the project stall.
  • Practical decisions without unnecessary complexity. We choose solutions that fit the situation, budget, and business goal instead of making the process heavier.

Portfolio

Selected work

Some work is under NDA - we do not disclose brand names or client assets. Below are three anonymized examples of typical deliveries: a racing game for a brand contest, a full mobile word logic game built from scratch to a partner brief, and a web AR game integrated inside a partner app (promotion, gamification and contest).

Campaign game · Contest

Arcade racing for a brand contest

End-to-end build of a short-session arcade racer used as the interactive layer of a consumer contest. We tuned one clear hook (draft, boost, clean racing line), added streak-based scoring and a leaderboard that matched the legal rules window. Delivery included difficulty tuning for casual players, lightweight UI for fast onboarding, and analytics events so marketing could verify participation and completion rates without exposing any brand-specific funnels.

Mobile game · Full production

Word logic puzzle from zero to release

Full production of a vocabulary-driven puzzle game for iOS and Android, starting from the partner's core idea and reference mechanics. Scope covered level authoring tools, dictionary and language constraints, progression and economy tuned for short daily sessions, remote content updates for seasonal packs, store assets and build pipeline. The focus was put on predictable delivery, so we ensured stable performance on mid-range devices, and readable UX for a broad audience.

Integration · Web AR

Web AR mini-game inside a partner app

Integration of a browser-based AR mini-game into an existing native application for a promotional and contest use case. Work included secure embedding, lifecycle handling between native screens and the web module, graceful fallbacks when camera permissions or AR APIs were unavailable, and event instrumentation aligned with the partner's analytics stack. The goal was a frictionless "scan, play, submit" loop that supported gamified marketing mechanics without forcing users to leave the host app.
